Baked Figs & Pears with honey & Pecans

Fresh figs and pears baked with honey and pecan nuts served with a dollop of fat free Greek yogurt.

Ingredients

  • 370g 2 ripe conference pears, halved and cored
  • 480g 8 ripe figs
  • 15g 1 tbsp clear honey
  • 25g Pecan nuts, roughly chopped
  • 60g 4 tbsp 0% fat Greek yogurt

Method

1. Preheat the oven to 200oC, Fan oven 180C, or gas mark 6.

2. Place the pears in a small ovenproof dish, flesh side up. Cut the figs as if into quarters but only to half way down, keeping them intact. Place 2 figs on each pear half.

3. Drizzle with honey and scatter over the pecans. Bake for 15-20 minutes until softened. Spoon 1 tbsp Greek yogurt over each one and serve.
