Baked spiced apples & mixed fruit

Baked eating apples with warm spices, sultanas and dried mixed berries.

Ingredients

  • 600g 3 large Pink Lady apples, cored and sliced
  • 75g Sultanas
  • 75g Dried berries and cherries (e.g.Forest Feast)
  • 200ml Unsweetened apple juice
  • 1 tsp mixed spice
  • 1/2 tsp ground cinnamon

Method

1. Preheat the oven to 200°C, Fan 180°C, gas mark 6.

2. Mix together the apples, dried fruit and spices. Transfer to an ovenproof dish and pour over the apple juice. Cover and bake for 40 minutes.

3. Serve hot
